The
Health Project offers services Monday through Friday, from
9:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to all those living with HIV, AIDS, and Hepatitis
C.
Case management
services will link a client to primary health care and other
essential services. Clients work closely with case managers to establish
goals and ensure a healthier, more satisfying life.
The Nutrition Program provides nutritional counseling
and free groceries twice a month in Gloucester.
Housing
Assistance is available for a limited number of individuals
living with Hepatitis C.
Alternative Health therapies are available throughout
the week at the Health Project or in practitioners' offices. The
Health Project offers acupuncture, massage, reiki, energy healing,
chiropractic, and other modalities.
The Health Project drop-in center offers a living
room, dining room/work area with computer, fax, telephone, and copier;
clients are welcome to spend the day reading, working on projects,
making a snack, or helping out the staff with volunteer activities.
A congregate meal is served on Monday and Wednesday
at noon. Each meal is tailored to the health needs of the clients,
and prepared by Rick Young and other professional chefs.
Jackie's
Clothes Closet offers new and gently used clothing and household
goods.
